and you too!’ - Chandrayaan-3 (@ISRO)

On 23rd August 2023, a whole country waited with bated breath to witness a historic moment - India’s landing on the moon!

With the successful landing of Chandrayaan 3, India became the first country to land on the lunar's south pole and fourth overall to reach the Moon.

As the chief of ISRO, S. Somanath rightly pointed out in his heartwarming speech filled with gratitude, this momentous victory is a result of the sweat, toil and determination of generations of ISRO leadership and scientists, who have, despite unfavourable results in the past, tirelessly worked to make India proud.

I too am filled with gratitude. Join me, as I urge the Government of India, to declare 23rd August as ISRO DAY to honour and celebrate the incredible contributions of our scientists at ISRO.

This day is one to remember; for our future generations to look back and know that with the right amount of hard work, dedication and perseverance there can be no limit!
