We are recently informed that the NFHS is to launch the NFHS 6 survey in July 2023 and there are talks that there will be non-inclusion of collection of disability data in the same. 

Data is crucial for understanding the experiences and disparities within diverse population groups. It enables policymakers address the specific challenges faced by those groups. 

Historically, the omission of disability data in surveys has led to a lack of understanding the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities and has perpetuated their marginalization. We believe that ensuring the accurate representation of persons with disabilities is paramount to crafting effective policies and fostering an inclusive society. 

We urge you to take action not let that happen !!! 

Sign our petition to reach the concerned ministries so that the critical need for inclusive data collection practices, specifically in relation to disability data is addressed.
