I am a business owner who engages on a personal level with the Bank of Scotland at Carberry Place. It has been a vital part of both my personal life and my business these past few months. This branch's existence is woven into the fabric of our community, and its potential closure threatens our day-to-day transactions, creating significant inconvenience and worry.

Closing this branch will mean either switching banks or walking with my weekly takings along Kirkcaldy High Street, the lack of free parking makes it a significant inconvenience. Saving our bank branch would not only combat these logistical issues but would also underpin the secure handling of our hard-earned money.

We require easy and immediate access to change for our businesses as do many others in the area. Having our local branch within reach provides great comfort and convenience, as we can obtain change at impromptu times to keep our businesses running smoothly. The branch also serves local residents some of whom can't travel far.
