The staff of the Barnaba Institute are passionate and compassionate people. Frank Barnaba began his mission to help sexually exploited girls and women 27 years ago and his fire still hasn't died down yet!

i am a victim of sexual abuse, it has been along road to travel, feelings of being all alone and not trusting anyone, being angry at something but not knowing what to do with it, truning to drugs and booze to dull the sense, i've lived a lifetime of this. now i'm beginning to see a lite at the end of a tunnel. it's been a journey, but it's gets better.

I am starting a business to raise money for organizations like the barnaba institute, The SAGE Project out of San Francisco and for myself and my daughter to survive while we are on a mission of hope. I am also a survivor of tramatic child sexual abuse and know the pain it causes. I spent years degrading myself through drugs. I was a dancer for ten years and came in contact with lots of girls who were forced to perform through a pimp. I didn't have the courage then to do anything to stop it and now I do. If anyone is interested in Melaleuca, wellness products or would like to start a business that could help you to raise money to stop sex trafficking, let me know rescueachild@yahoo.com

At some point in our lives most of us will be given a cross to bear, some more burdensome than others. Behind the masks and beneath the smiles lie the scars and the memories long buried. I hope to offer you comfort in the knowledge YOU ARE NOT ALONE, NEVER WERE and NEVER WILL BE. You stand as testament to the fact the human spirit knows no bounds. You have been through the pain but you will now experience the joy of your newfound strength and courage. From within yourself and with the encouragement and help from others you will grow in strength day by day. The universe awaits you with open arms. Like a mother watching her baby taking its first steps it cannot wait to embrace you. Love and best wishes to you on your new journey.

I used to suffer from depression and low-self esteem. But all that changed because of something someone said to me when I was at my lowest.

'You have to make the decision, for yourself, that you are in charge of your life. You need to make the choice to not sit in your pit but to Get Out of it. It's hard, but no one can do it for you but you. But there are however people out there who can give you the tools to help you build the ladder.'
And believe me, if I can do it then SO CAN YOU!
There is Always HOPE!
Good luck!
