Elect Progressive Leaders

- Mission:
- To elect candidates into Congress who will advocate and be leaders for progressive policies.

The election of a new president committed to solving global problems is crucial. However, it is equally important to elect a Congress that will support the new President as he or she works to correct what some would argue has been 8 years of backward policies.
President Bush's allies have shown over the last year how a determined minority in the House and Senate can take advantage of the complex congressional process and use procedural votes to block important legislation. We need an even larger majority in Congress in 2009 to end the war in Iraq, stop the proliferation of nuclear weapons, and address other international challenges. - Impact:

As much as it is necessary in my USA to elect progressive leaders, it is equally necessary to do so in all my other countries where democracy is the way. Success of the democratic way is the only powerful means to turn my remaining nations to the fount of democracy and the freedom it represents.
And people-power supporting progressive leaders is the core-strength of Progress to come:

I hope you also experience that all the nations are yours, as much as they are mine.
