As a loyal consumer of Halo, it has personally impacted my life in unprecedented ways, inspiring me to make significant positive changes in my life. This testament to the show's powerful influence can't be overlooked.

"Halo The Series" has been much more than mere entertainment for many people like me, it’s been a beacon of hope, and a source of courage affecting real-life actions. 

However, it has come to my notice that Season 3 has been cancelled. This is a cause of concern for me and many other fans of the franchise.

The first season received a mixed response with significantly high viewership, with the main concerns and critics being that it strayed away from the source material, mainly with Master Chief taking off his helmet in episode one, an idea that has never happened and has become a running gag in the games, despite taking it off in lots of other Halo media.

Season 2 was eagerly awaited and was much closer to the source material. It showed a much stronger viewership than the first season and was left on a cliff hanger to Season 3 which would supposedly explore the story of Combat Evolved.

Many people "hate" on the show while openly stating to not have watched it. It seems as though it was the "trendy" thing to do to hate, simply because it wasn't page by page the same as the books or games.

Millions of people loved the show, some old Halo fans, some new and alot of the haters were the die-hard fans, refusing to accept anything less than perfect.

All the star wars TV shows were not 100% accurate to the source material but people didn't complain so why is it that Halo gets all the hate?

I understand that season one was sort of a new story, not honoring the source material very much, but season two was fixing that. Season two was becoming the entrance to Halo: Combat Evolved and was left with multiple incredible cliff hangers, how much more of a source material can you get?

I'm not sure if this petition will do anything, even if it gets lots of signatures, but it's worth a shot. Supposedly Paramount+ are looking to get the show picked up by another platform/studio but really what are the odds of that happening, nobody knows.

To the producers and relevant decision-makers for Halo, we urge you to consider renewing season 3. Recognize the influence and significance that this show has for millions of people. There are always going to be haters but this franchise has so much love behind it, it would be a waste of such talented actors, actresses and an incredible and influential universe.
