For me, that means that they have an international reach to their efforts, yet they have a strong local presence, too. They work on issues that are important to me -- like climate change and preserving coral reefs and rainforests -- and help get me out into the natural world with their huge network of public preserves. They partner with other organizations that I trust and use my contribution very efficiently where it's needed most, which is why they were given four out of four stars by Charity Navigator.
