I believe being straight is a very big deal and I'm proud to be straight. I've been told that it's very odd or different to be straight and sometimes that I'm doing it just to be special or feel accepted. I do not believe that there should be a black history month or a gay pride month without a white history month or a straight pride month as we have also done amazing things. It just doesn't seem very fair, especially when everyone these days are all about accept and being different is normal and who you are is perfect. I believe a great start to accepting straight people is to have a straight pride month and honor there differences and how much they go through.
