During the last few weeks, yet another scandal has happened with the Danish tv celebrity and entertainer Jim Lyngvild. This is one out of many respect less acts of this person. 

Artist in Kalaallit Nunaat (Greenland) ask for your help in the fight for justice. We ask you to support this petition to make a stand against the exploitation and cultural appropriation that is going on right now. 

We will not accept that Jim Lyngvild is representing Inuit in Kalaallit Nunaat and we condemn his work that is appropriating not only our culture but our spiritual and animal world. It’s not acceptable to us. 

Please take a stand with us, and boycott Great Greenland’s sealskin products. Great Greenland is hurting our culture and identity in Kalaallit Nunaat simply to promote and sell their products.  

Within the last weeks JL has been centering himself and asked his Danish followers for pity, when we called him out for cultural appropriation. We don’t want him representing us. He even called us “infinite nothing” and “b*tch” and other very hurtful comments. 

We have tried calling this Danish celebrity out, and also called out Great Greenland, but since they are not listening, and not backing off, we are calling out to our international allies.
