Prominent psoriasis community hashtags including #psoriasisuk #psoriasiscommunity #psoriasisawareness #psoriasislife #psoriasissucks #psoriasiswarrior and #getyourskinout have been blocked on Instagram. We have also been made aware of psoriasis content being removed from Facebook due to the portrayal of a 'non ideal body type'. 

We are calling on Instagram and Facebook to explain their actions, and to reinstate the blocked psoriasis content. Not to do this is stigmatising and discriminatory of a community of people living with a visible long term condition, and the 100 million people with psoriasis worldwide.
