The Issue

The City of Roswell has begun construction of a development plan at Historic Mimosa Hall & Gardens which is in its first phase and began with clearing several acres on the historic property at the end of May.

WE as ROSWELL CITIZENS are SHOCKED by the devastation to several acres of what was once a woodland refuge to wildlife which included 30+ specimen trees.
There are still specimen trees on the property which are in danger of being destroyed, including a Magnificent 100+ year old Black Walnut tree which has been professionally evaluated by an arborist and acknowledged as one of the largest Black Walnut trees in Roswell.
You DO NOT NEED TO DONATE SIMPLY SHARE this petition with friends and neighbors
to HELP US SAVE the Black Walnut at Mimosa!
By signing this petition you are joining us in requesting The Roswell Mayor and The Roswell City Council:
1.) To commit, in writing, to the protection of Mimosa Halls Black Walnut, tree tag #1691
2.) To commit, in writing, to seeking feedback from the public about the details of all major projects that could irrevocably change our historic assets in any way.
Respectively,
Engaged Citizens of Roswell
