Abominable Abuse of Animals Exists At Shocking Global Levels:

• The EU’s most profitable illegally traded commodities are drugs, arms and puppies. Newsweek
• An estimated 2.6 million dogs are sold each year from cruel American puppy mills. Humane Society International 
• 98% of UK vets are asked to euthanise healthy pets. BVA
• Pet theft in some countries has rocketed by up to 250%, often involving criminal gangs. BBC 
• About 6.5 million dogs and cats enter USA shelters every year, an estimated 1.5 million of which are euthanised - often because of a lack of space and adopters. ASPCA 
• An estimated 30 million dogs across Asia, including stolen family pets, are killed for human consumption every year. BBC
