ONE PERSON, ONE VOTE --
End the Antiquated Electoral College

We The People respectfully request a change to our election system for a 21st Century world. The current Electoral College system is an antiquated relic dating back to 1804 that allows a handpicked group of (potentially faithless) "electors" to decide the fate of our nation, rather than We The People. 

Populations are shifting away from big cities and into smaller towns in a post-pandemic world. Every American's vote should count equally. That's why we need a National Popular Vote, without delay. 

That means changing to an election system where we have ONE PERSON, ONE VOTE -- without any meddling from the Electoral College or political parties jockeying to gerrymander districts in their favor. 

These are the only other countries still using an "Electoral College" system for their national elections: Burundi, Estonia, India, Kazakhstan, Madagascar, Myanmar, Pakistan, Trinidad & Tobago and Vanuatu. Ireland also uses an "Electoral College" system to elect it's Senate.

Isn't it high time the USA joins the 21st Century and moves to ONE PERSON, ONE VOTE -- before the Midterms and the next Presidential election -- like the majority of the free world? It's time for a National Popular Vote that allows We The People, by majority, to select our President... END THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE.
