The musicians of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra have unanimously passed a vote of no confidence in the SSO Board Management Committee (BMC). 

Our beloved Springfield Symphony Orchestra has been reduced to a hollow shell by the BMC - the very people entrusted with its well-being. The audience, patrons, musicians, staff, donors, and the City of Springfield should not abide by a Board that refuses to fulfill its obligations of restoring and sustaining the orchestra. The musicians of the SSO believe the BMC’s destructive actions demonstrate that the time has come for its members to depart the organization.
