The Issue
Petition for the Continuation of the Syberia Series
As a long-time admirer of the Syberia series, I am launching this petition to express a heartfelt request to Microids: Please continue the story of Syberia.
The world Benoît Sokal created has captivated players around the globe for over two decades. With its rich narrative, atmospheric steampunk aesthetic, memorable characters, and emotionally driven storytelling, Syberia offers an experience that goes far beyond traditional point-and-click games. Even those who may not have connected deeply with every game might still appreciate the beauty of the series as a whole.
The fourth game, Syberia: The World Before, proved that the franchise still has the power to touch hearts and evolve both visually and narratively. It introduced a new more story driven direction while staying true to its emotional core, resonating with both longtime fans and newcomers. The soundtrack, storytelling, and design have all shown that Syberia still has so much to give.
I understand the devastating loss of Benoît Sokal and how deeply it impacted the creative process. However, reports suggest that he left behind ideas and material for a continuation of the story. This gives us hope — not just for closure, but for the opportunity to carry his vision forward and keep his legacy alive.

Whether you're a long-time fan or someone who only recently discovered the series, your voice matters. Every signature is a message: that these stories, these characters, and this universe are worth continuing.
