We, the undersigned, urge the Harrison County Board of Education to transfer the North View Elementary property to the City of Clarksburg's Land Reuse Agency rather than auction it to the highest bidder.

Unfortunately, in the past, similar buildings were auctioned off, only to sit vacant, decay, and eventually be demolished. This cycle of abandonment hurts our neighborhoods and wastes public assets.

Mayor Malfregeot has expressed support for Emmanuel Christian School to move into North View Elementary, saying he is “hopeful that school board members would… allow Emmanuel Christian School to move into the North View Elementary building.”
