The Issue

The World Peace Catalyst Fund (WPCF) empowers you to safely bring change with your voice and perspective. The World Peace Catalyst Fund provides a systemic social mechanism to determine common grounds amongst all peoples and thus catalyze the way towards peace. Please sign this petition to get Congress to fund a pilot cross-cultural conversations program with our semiotic social media application, Icebreakers.

The World Peace Catalyst Fund believes that if we knew enough about what separates us and what bonds us, the common grounds, we would be closer to peace.   The systemic social mechanism from WPCF gives us a way to determine the vocabulary (pieces to the social puzzle), and the conversational pathways, that will help us establish common grounds (magic words). With the common grounds, we can reversibly move people from a place of hate to a place of peace, where we can thrive and prosper.  This is a mechansism that will work in any and every conflict area.

Icebreakers is a working semiotic social media application that is currently offline. The concepts are abstract and experimental, however WPCF has empirical evidence and working theory that shows high potential for the program to be a success.  Given how much money is being spent/wasted across all conflict/aide areas, we petition Congress to ask for $500k worth of funding, so the entire program can be tested. Once we reach 1,000 signatures, this petition will be sent to the leaders of the intelligence, foreign affairs, education, and science committees across the House and Senate.

My name is Mudib Rawoot, I am a software developer.  Growing up as a first-generation immigrant, I faced countless challenges, navigating through a world seemingly set up against my success. I remember standing on the edge of uncertainty, not knowing if I would ever see the inside of a college graduation hall, let alone walk across that stage. But through sheer determination and support, I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, and I continued my pursuit of knowledge with a Master's in Material Science Engineering. For over a decade, I have applied my skills in the IT industry, but my heart yearned for more—a way to give back to the world, to be a catalyst for change.

My experience living and working between diverse people, combined with my knowledge of the natural world, led me to conceive the World Peace Catalyst Fund, an initiative that has blossomed from a mere thought experiment into a vital non-profit organization. Our overarching goal is to provide a systemic social mechanism that helps conflicting groups find common ground. Through our Cross-Cultural Conversations Program, we strive to build bridges between communities entrenched in conflict, fostering dialogue and understanding to pave the way for sustainable peace.

However, for this vision to come to full fruition, we need your help. Funding for our Cross-Cultural Conversations Program is essential to facilitate the meetings, workshops, and peace-building activities that are at the core of our mission. Supporting this program not only aids our efforts in conflict resolution but also contributes to a larger global movement towards peace and collaboration.

Please join us in supporting the World Peace Catalyst Fund Cross-Cultural Conversations Program and help establish a legacy of peace and mutual understanding in conflict areas around the world. Sign this petition and be a proponent of change for a harmonious future. Let's create a world where every voice is heard, and peace has a fighting chance.
