Friends and Family in Bayville, It's time to pay attention to what the proposed new development , planned for where the WOBM Pit currently sits, is going to do to our already over burdened little town that we love! It has been postponed from the Dec 5th planning board meeting to March 2020 meeting (date TBA) and we still NEED your voice, your presence is NEEDED at the Berkeley Township planning board meeting to speak up and be heard!  Also there will be an informal meeting hosted by applicant on February 6th at 6pm at the Bayville Elks Lodge! Please show up and let them see how many of us do not want this in Bayville! Our roads are already over burdened with horrendous traffic. Our schools already over crowded. Our Water Aquifer CANNOT withstand even MORE impervious surface being laid, without proper replenishment due to those roads. Add in a ridiculous addition to demand on top of it and it's a recipe for disaster!! This developer is asking the planning board to accept their application for MANY variances. Variances that seek to change the current specifications the town already has in place. Zoning that was put in place to meet state regulations should NOT be overlooked and overturned simply because enough MONEY was thrown at the issue!!! We cannot DRINK money, when the water runs dry!! And the only ones that will have enough to BUY water will be those responsible for the desecration!! We'll be busy being over taxed to death for all the new things the town will need to accomodate this.
   If these variances are approved by the planning board, this will mean the developer will cram WAY more into that parcel of land they're developing than the said requirements already allow for. AGAIN, This will mean even MORE Impervious surface to prevent the absorption of rain water back into the ground. Water that's NEEDED for obvious reasons! There will be MORE toxic run off into our watersheds. MORE NEEDLESS and UNWANTED deforestation in OUR already diminishing Pine Barrens.
   There are ALREADY, a TON of empty retail spaces that sit unoccupied in Berkeley. There are even MORE vacant homes that sit rotting away currently in Bayville. . WHY do we need to build MORE??? This is vastly unnecessary and will turn our lovely little town into another Bricktown traffic NIGHTMARE. Time to say: NO THANKS!!
   This has been postponed for 4th time now! They want us to forget and move on! Please show up in March! And DON’T FORGET TO COME ON FEBRUARY 6th at 6pm at the Bayville Elks Lodge!!!! NOW IS the time to spread the word! Plan to be there and make a difference! Here's your chance to DO something, BEFORE it's too late! PLEASE SIGN THE PETITION! Let them know we don’t want this on our town! Let these greedy developers who will take home a large pay day and administrators with well greased pockets know that we will NOT be without a voice in this! None of THEM will care while WE, sit in the BIGGER traffic jams. While our children get crammed into already overcrowded classrooms, While our beloved creek and Bay fill with even MORE runoff.

The time is NOW, to let them know we WON'T stand for them destroying the town we know and love anymore!!! If this development gets built we all know more developers will come in to build on what’s left of our undeveloped land . PLEASE, Show up and let your voices be heard. There's strength in numbers and we need BIG numbers to take down the Goliath of the almighty dollar, over OUR quality of life!!
