Commit Murray State Online Grading to Pass/Fail

Commit Murray State Online Grading to Pass/Fail
The Issue
Due to the Covid-19 case, Murray State has decided to do away with all face to face interaction. The challeges we are facing globally with the safety of our well being at this time of crisis, is pulling our attention away from our studies. We know education is important but so is our emotional well being and the stressful online workload isnt helping. This movement will allow all students to recieve their education, while at the same time ease professors technological disadvantages they are going through. Professors are expected to put an entire semester of material online for each of his or her classes and that is outrageous to ask of them, cut them some slack along with the students who are struggling to comprehend the material and switch the grading criteria to pass/fail. This change would allow both students and professors to have an easier time teaching and learning while going through this global crisis.
