La Fabbrica Blu di Bugatti a Campogalliano non è un semplice edificio industriale. (ENGLISH BELOW)

È un simbolo mondiale dell’ingegneria italiana, della Motor Valley e della storia della EB110, conosciuto da milioni di appassionati in tutto il mondo.

Per oltre trent’anni, la struttura è stata custodita e protetta volontariamente dalla famiglia Pavesi, che ha impedito vandalismi, intrusioni e distruzioni.

In questo periodo migliaia di visitatori provenienti da ogni paese hanno potuto entrare legalmente e in sicurezza, riconoscendo la Fabbrica Blu come un patrimonio unico per storia, architettura e cultura.

Dal 2022, quando la custodia è stata interrotta e l’edificio è stato abbandonato dall’attuale proprietà, il declino è iniziato: vandalismi, furti, finestre rotte, uffici devastati, materiali rubati, danni strutturali e ingressi continui.

Il 31 ottobre 2025 la fabbrica è stata addirittura occupata per un rave abusivo.

Cittadini, residenti e appassionati hanno segnalato più volte la situazione al Comune, alla Regione e alle autorità, senza risultati concreti. Il pericolo per persone, patrimonio e territorio è reale.

Chiediamo che:

• le autorità competenti (Governo, Ministero dell’Interno, Ministero della Cultura, Regione Emilia-Romagna, Comune di Campogalliano) intervengano urgentemente per mettere in sicurezza la struttura e fermare gli ingressi illegali;
• la Fabbrica Blu venga avviata verso un percorso di tutela e riconoscimento del suo valore storico e architettonico;
• la proprietà sia obbligata a ripristinare sicurezza e manutenzione, o l’immobile venga affidato a gestione commissariale/pubblica;
• si valuti un progetto di recupero come museo, spazio culturale, polo espositivo o centro tecnico dedicato alla storia dell’automotive italiano.

La Fabbrica Blu non appartiene solo a chi ne detiene i muri: appartiene alla memoria collettiva della Motor Valley e della cultura industriale italiana.

Se non si interviene subito, rischiamo di perderla per sempre.

The Bugatti Blue Factory in Campogalliano is not just an industrial building.

It is a global symbol of Italian engineering, of the Motor Valley, and of the EB110 legacy, known by millions of enthusiasts around the world.

For over thirty years, the facility was voluntarily protected and maintained by the Pavesi family, who prevented vandalism, trespassing and destruction.

During those years, thousands of visitors from many countries were able to enter legally and safely, recognising the Blue Factory as a unique historical, architectural and cultural landmark.

Since 2022, when the custodians were removed and the ownership abandoned the building, the decline began: vandalism, thefts, broken windows, destroyed offices, stolen materials, structural damage and continuous illegal entries.

On October 31st, 2025, the factory was even occupied for an illegal rave.

Citizens, residents and enthusiasts repeatedly informed local and regional authorities, but nothing concrete has been done. The danger for people, heritage and the territory is real.

We ask that:

• the competent authorities (Italian Government, Ministry of the Interior, Ministry of Culture, Emilia-Romagna Region, Municipality of Campogalliano) urgently secure the building and stop illegal access;
• the Blue Factory receives formal protection and recognition for its historical and architectural value;
  the current ownership is forced to restore safety and maintenance, or the site is placed under public/commissarial management;
• a recovery project is considered, such as a museum, cultural space, exhibition centre or technical hub dedicated to Italian automotive history.

The Blue Factory does not belong only to those who own its walls: it belongs to the collective memory of the Motor Valley and to Italian industrial culture.

If we do not act now, we will lose it forever.
