The A518 between Newport and Donnington has held many accidents. 

The main road is in darkness, with high speeds and weather conditions its responsible for many accidents. It's taken and impacted the lives of many, including the loss of my God-daughter Winnie Grace, a little 19 month old ocean eyed diva, her life was only just starting. 

If Ashleigh (her mummy) was driving down a well lit road, just maybe she may have seen the car drifting into her lane. Winnie may still be here today - just maybe.  

Accidents like that you'd think it doesn't happen to you or your family until it does.

There's a footpath down this road leading to hedges, dips and darker areas - anything could happen to people walking along here. Even if the streetlights make people slow down, take notice, and make someone walking feel safer they've done their job. 

Please help us get atleast some lights down that road, it may just save a life, it may prevent losing somebody you love.
