I have always been passionate about Roman mythology and its influence on our world. It's a personal matter to me that our planetary system should reflect this rich heritage consistently. Currently, there is an inconsistency that needs addressing - the planet Uranus, named after a Greek deity, in a system where all other planets bear Roman names.

Uranus is the only planet in our solar system named after a figure from Greek mythology, rather than Roman. This discrepancy stands out as it breaks the pattern established by all other planets - Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune are all named after Roman deities (source: NASA). To correct this inconsistency and honor the tradition of using Roman mythology in naming celestial bodies within our solar system, I propose renaming Uranus to Caelus.

Caelus was the primal god of the sky in Roman mythos (source: The Oxford Classical Dictionary), equivalent to Uranus in Greek mythology. By renaming Uranus as Caelus we would be maintaining continuity with other planetary names while still honoring its original meaning.
