Currently, Dead by Daylight suffers from a profound auditory deficit. When the Stranger Things Chapter was originally reinstated, the iconic, high-pitched, majestic vocalizations of Steve Harrington—affectionately known by the community as "The Steagull"—were replaced with generic, gravelly grunts that fail to capture the essence of the character.

Why This is a Crisis:

• Loss of Character Identity: Steve Harrington is not just any survivor; he is a hero, a babysitter, and a style icon. His original scream perfectly captured the "terrified but brave" energy of his character. The new voice lines feel like a generic placeholder.

Even in the sweatiest matches, hearing that legendary squawk from across the map reminded us that, at its heart, this game is supposed to be fun. The original SFX was a pillar of DBD meme culture. By removing it, a piece of the game's history has been erased. We are now living in a post-Steagull world, and quite frankly, it’s a darker place.
  
  
• The Demand: We aren't asking for a total overhaul. We are asking for choice. We call upon Behavior Interactive to restore the original Steagull audio files, either as a permanent revert or as a toggleable "Legacy Audio" option for those who own the character.
