The Issue

As residents directly affected by the proposed Riverside Stump Dump Inc. facility at 7 Brookshire Road, we are requesting greater transparency and an accessible public hearing. The facility would process tree stumps and brush into mulch, raising serious concerns for our community, including:

  • Increased truck traffic on already busy local roads
  • Noise, dust, and air pollution from debris processing
  • Potential impacts on water quality and local wildlife
  • Compliance with zoning, ordinances, and environmental regulations

The company has scheduled a virtual community meeting on Monday, January 12, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. A virtual-only format limits meaningful participation and prevents many residents from fully engaging, asking questions, or expressing concerns.

We urge local officials to schedule an in-person public hearing so the community can engage directly with the company and decision-makers. Sign this petition to demand transparency, accountability, and a voice in decisions that affect our community.
