Say No to Mercury’s Waikokowai Wind Farm Plan

We, the local community, strongly oppose Mercury’s proposed plan for the Waikokowai wind farm.

We are deeply concerned that the planned wind turbines will be built too close to our homes, potentially causing serious and lasting impacts on our health, wellbeing, and way of life.

We urge Mercury and all relevant decision-makers to listen to the voices of our communities. We ask that this project be reconsidered, and that alternative, more community-friendly solutions be explored.
