Two Crashes, Six Deaths! Fix America’s Broken Truck Licensing System!

Two Crashes, Six Deaths! Fix America’s Broken Truck Licensing System!
The Issue
2 devastating crashes, 1 in California and 1 in Florida, have taken six innocent lives in just two months.
In October 2025, Jashanpreet Singh, 21, allegedly caused a fiery eight-vehicle crash in Ontario, California, killing three people and injuring four more.
Homeland Security confirmed Singh entered the U.S. illegally in 2022 but still obtained a California commercial driver’s license (CDL).
Just weeks earlier, Harjinder Singh caused another deadly crash on Florida’s Turnpike, killing three more. He, too, had entered the U.S. illegally and was licensed in California.
These tragedies are not isolated incidents!
They expose a systemic failure in verifying who is qualified and legally allowed to operate massive trucks on U.S. roads. It’s not about politics or where someone comes from, it’s about basic safety and accountability.
We call for immediate federal action to:
1.) Audit California’s CDL licensing system and hold officials accountable.
2.) Require real-time legal and status verification for CDL applicants.
3.) Enforce English proficiency and drug testing standards nationwide.
4.) Suspend CDL issuing powers from any state that fails to follow federal safety rules.
No family should lose loved ones because of preventable oversight failures.
It’s time to fix America’s broken CDL system before more lives are lost.
