I am one of the many who have experienced defamation, deplatforming, and lawfare at the hands of Imran Ahmed and his organization, CCDH. They have targeted me and twelve others they labeled the "disinformation dozen" for merely expressing narratives different from theirs, challenging our very right to free speech, fairness, and open debate. The Elevate Prize Foundation's decision to award Imran Ahmed not only prestige but a large cash payout (300k) is deeply concerning due to numerous serious allegations against him. These include foreign election interference, advocacy for censorship, black ops campaigns against critics, legal challenges, Congressional investigations as well as spreading of misinformation. Considering these disturbing allegations, it becomes crucial to reevaluate the decision behind this award. We believe the actions of CCDH undermine the values that the Elevate Prize Foundation originally stands for. Therefore, we urge the Elevate Prize Foundation to reconsider this award to be given to Imran at their award event in Miami in May 12-14 and uphold the principles it pledges to honor.
